Darunik Admin Panel — Comprehensive Pharmacy Management Dashboard
Overview
The Darunik Admin Panel is the operational heart of the online pharmacy — where every behind-the-scenes process, from the moment an order is placed to final delivery, is managed. Unlike many projects that rely on a separate frontend framework for the admin panel, this one is built 100% with Laravel, with no additional JavaScript SPA layer; all real-time, dynamic interactions are powered by Livewire, without writing a single line of manual JavaScript.
Key Features
- A real-time analytics dashboard with sales charts, best-selling products, and low-stock alerts
- Full order management with a multi-stage workflow (pending, preparing, shipped, delivered)
- A prescription review and approval system for pharmacists, with the ability to approve or reject and attach notes to each prescription
- Multi-warehouse inventory management with automatic alerts for approaching expiration dates and critical stock levels
- Role-based access control (RBAC) that precisely separates permissions between pharmacists, warehouse staff, support, and senior management
- Automatic SMS and notification delivery to customers on every order or prescription status change
- Reporting and Excel export for sales, orders, and inventory for periodic analysis
- A full user activity audit log for transparency and traceability
Technical Architecture
The entire panel — from the UI to the business logic — is built with Laravel and Livewire; dynamic interactions (live filtering, real-time table updates, multi-step forms) are implemented purely with PHP and Blade, without the complexity of a separate SPA. Roles and permissions are handled through an RBAC pattern and Laravel's permission library. Heavy tasks like bulk SMS sending, Excel report generation, and prescription image processing run asynchronously through Laravel Queues to keep the panel fast at all times. The primary database is MySQL, and the service is deployed and maintained with Docker and Nginx.
My Role
I was fully responsible for the panel's architecture design, the implementation of every module (orders, inventory, prescriptions, reports, roles & permissions), as well as the deployment and ongoing maintenance of the service.
